There came a moment when I stopped thinking, “Maybe someday,” and instead decided—"Why not now?” That choice set in motion the continuation of my growth as a real estate professional.
It was the start of a completely new chapter. My son had gone off to college, and for the first time in a long time, I had the space to think about what I wanted next. Suddenly my goals didn’t feel like ones I had to wait for. There was no reason not to pursue them now. What I didn’t expect was how much this season would push me to grow and learn—not just personally, but in my business, too.

My career in real estate started in 1997. We bought our first home when I was 24, and that experience opened my eyes to real estate as a meaningful and people-focused profession. At 27, I was planning for a family, and commuting an hour and a half into Chicago every day just wasn’t sustainable. I’ve always had a heart for service, and real estate gave me a way to help others while staying close to home.
As excited as I was to start a new career, those early years were a defining part of my life as they challenged me in new ways. I took calls from closets while my son napped, worked showings around his hockey and baseball schedules, and still got him on the bus in the mornings and made it to most field trips. I learned to juggle a lot at once, to stay calm under pressure, and to prioritize what mattered most: my family and my clients.

I’ve never been one to tell clients what they want to hear. My role is to educate, guide, and help people make smart, informed choices—whether they’re buying their first home, navigating a divorce, relocating, or downsizing after decades. That honest, direct approach has earned long-term trust and a nickname I wear proudly: “Tell-it-like-it-is Angie.” Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of families across Illinois—selling everywhere from Bloomington to Pingree Grove—and building relationships that last long after closing. Many of my clients have enlisted my help for multiple transactions or sent their children, parents, and friends my way. That continued trust means everything to me.

When my son left home, I decided to step into a new season of my life prioritizing what I had wanted to do for a long time: expand my business. I got licensed in Florida, where I have been visiting for years, and continue to serve my Illinois clients with the same commitment and care I’ve always had. I’ve built strong systems, surrounded myself with a trusted support team, and created a balance that allows me to effectively assist my clients in both markets. I meet with clients in person, over Zoom, and through every channel that keeps us connected. The truth is—it’s made me a better REALTOR®. I’m more focused, more intentional, and more excited than ever about the future.

When I'm not serving clients, in my spare time I enjoy playing pickleball and cornhole, boating, exploring new places, and even taking walks with my dog, Daisy, around the neighborhood. If anything, this new chapter has made my commitment to serving people in real estate even stronger. As my business has grown, I have been able to expand my reach while still offering the same personal, high-level service I’ve always believed in. I’m glad that despite the challenges I knew I’d face; I took the leap anyway.

I’ve been incredibly blessed to have a strong support foundation in life—colleagues, friends, church, and family. They’ve helped make my life’s journey more enriching, and I cherish those relationships.
My goal moving forward is simple: to keep growing and to help more people each year. Real estate has never been just a job to me. It’s a way to support people through life’s biggest transitions, provide honest guidance, and show up when it matters most. I’ve always believed in living and working by the golden rule, treating others the way I’d want to be treated, and that’s the standard I bring to every client and every decision. That commitment has always been at the heart of my work, and it always will be.
After nearly three decades in real estate, I’ve navigated challenging times—like the Great Recession and Covid. I bring strong negotiation and communication skills, deep market knowledge, and above all, genuine care for each client’s needs. I’ve taught classes, mentored agents, and built solid partnerships with attorneys, lenders, and vendors to streamline the process. Collaboration is key to creating a smooth, effective experience. By working closely with clients and trusted partners, I stay ahead of issues and keep the process moving with clarity and confidence from start to finish.
Sincerely,
